great stay but room could use some updates

The easy beach access was fantastic for my family with children. We enjoyed the inviting lobby and the nice, bright hallways that made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The room felt a bit dated despite being clean.

The staff treated us like family, they were so helpful and caring during our stay, even when I got sick, they brought me medicine right away. Plus, the pools were great, really nice and clean, perfect for the kids to splash around and have fun.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what we got, it was still acceptable.

I was bummed about the lack of morning coffee at the Boardwalk Inn, and it felt a bit off when I noticed dirty elevators and a stained extra blanket in my room.

The mismatch between room pictures and the actual room is disappointing!!! The ridiculous fees piled on top make it feel like an overhyped beach hotel rather than a luxury escape.
